After a few months in development, the AppliedIRC Quotes system has just now gone live.

The quotes system allows channel users to paste quotes from a channel into their quotes page. For that extra peace of mind, the option to moderate quotes is available for users with a set access in the channel.

You can enable quotes for your channel via My AppliedIRC and then the Quotes button. Once you have enabled them, you and other users will be able to view quotes and add them via http://quotes.appliedirc.com/channelname/ or by using the Quotes tab.

Also, a word of news from the development dungeon at AppliedIRC. Work is progressing on a channel web access module. This module will give channel admins more control over who can view the web elements for their channel. More on this feature soon.
