Help for QUIET:

The QUIET command allows you to mute a user or hostmask in
a channel. Affected users will be notified that you did it.

Syntax: QUIET <#channel> <nickname|hostmask>

Examples:
    /msg ChanServ QUIET #chat AfterDeath
    /msg ChanServ QUIET #chat *!*@*.ipt.aol.com
